About
Blue Collar SpongeBob is a series of memes using AI-generated images of SpongeBob SquarePants as a grizzled blue collar worker set to an outlaw country song by TikToker @redriverredneck1993 known as the "Blue Collar Anthem," in which he sings, "My collar's blue but my neck is red. I been working like a dog just to keep my family fed." The song was first posted to TikTok in January 2025, and the earliest known Blue Collar SpongeBob meme, which jokes about someone getting their first job at McDonald's and acting like they're a blue-collar worker with no time, was posted in late September 2025, inspiring the meme trend.
