Sometime on April 13th, 2024, a video of a teenage girl dragging a younger boy by his foot and kicking him began to make the rounds on Snapchat. By April 14th, the girl in the clip was supposedly identified, with people claiming that her name is "Lexi Bonner."^[8]

The video was reposted to X^[1] / Twitter on April 14th, 2024, by user @Bob201700, who gathered over 1.5 million views and 13,000 likes in a day (seen below).

On April 14th, 2024, TikToker^[2] @itslibby_b posted a video showing more footage from the girl's attack on the 8-year-old, this time showing him playfully touching her hand over a fence and then running away as she begins to chase him. The video was reposted to X^[3] by @DylanS99, where it gathered over 500,000 views and 2,000 likes in a day (seen below).

On April 14th, Facebook^[6] user Bobbie Diggs posted several screenshots claiming to be in touch with the young boy's mother, who says that the boy is not suffering from any broken bones but has some bruising. Diggs also shared a GoFundMe link, saying that proceeds will go to the boy's family. Diggs's claims are unverified (seen below, left).

Also on April 14th, 2024, X^[7] user @AmeliaBrac1336 posted a Snapchat screenshot of a young boy in a hospital bed with dried blood on his face. The image was captioned, "the aftermath #lexibonner." The user claims that the image is of the young boy seen in the viral footage, however, this is unverified. The post gathered over 13,000 likes in a day (seen below, right).

That same day, TikToker^[4] @mxjai5 posted a video captioned, "everyone outside lexi bonners house rn," showing several men dancing to the song "Kung Fu Fighting" by Carl Douglas (seen below, left). The post gathered over 150,000 plays and 15,000 likes in a day (seen below, left). Also on April 14th, TikToker^[5] @yudontknowme53 posted a video expressing her sympathy for the boy and saying that karma will find Lexi Bonner. The post gathered over 700,000 plays and 60,000 likes in a day (seen below, right).
