There are a LOT of reasons to hate new episodes. The writers are completely different and they have demonstrated a total lack of understanding for the characters. In addition, many episodes exist just to torture someone who did nothing wrong (usually Squidward) or to gross out the audience. …Though there are occasionally good episodes.
