Many also joked about how KayraTheodore looked like a "psychic gym leader" from Pokémon (specifically coinciding with the Pokémon Gym Leader Hairstyle trend) or a Tim Burton character. The art trend started in April 2024 and continued into May 2024.

On April 23rd, 2024, TikToker^[1] @kayratheodore posted a video that combined multiple selfie videos of herself pictured with various hairdos involving braids. Her braids were shown in spirals, squares and curls, among other shapes. Over eight days, the video received roughly 2.6 million plays and 866,500 likes (shown below).

Later on April 23rd, 2024, X^[2] user @mother_cathy reposted the video, writing, "Y'all," receiving over 56 million views and 260,000 likes in eight days. The tweet inspired numerous viral quotes, like one shared by X^[3] user @Rattlezziper on April 24th, who said, "She a psychic gym leader," receiving over 308,000 likes in six days (shown below, left).

On April 24th, 2024, X^[4] user @girlyloomis tweeted, "this is crazy good character design inspo," gaining over 11,000 likes in six days (shown below, right).

On April 25th, 2024, X^[5] user @deeecreates tweeted, "They said she looked like a Tim Burton character 💀," captioning an original drawing of KayraTheodore based on the viral video, gaining over 89,000 likes in six days (shown below, left).
