Jeaney Collects is the handle of a British voice actor that voices viral memes, greentexts, Tumblr posts, tweets and other content that are uploaded to the YouTube channel of the same name. Launched in 2020, the channel adopted its current theme in early 2021 and has since amassed a significant following.

Online History

On May 14th, 2020, YouTuber^[1] Jeaney Collects uploaded their first video, a comedy gameplay video of the 2006 video game Resistance: Fall of Man.

On February 21st, 2021, Jeaney Collects uploaded the earliest voiceover video on the channel, a voiced version of an Internet Explorer meme that gained over 105,000 views in two years (shown below).^[2]

Over 2021, the channel uploaded multiple videos in which they voiced viral memes, greentexts and Twitter and Tumblr posts, narrating and acting them out with a pronounced British accent. For example, on March 1st, 2021, the channel uploaded^[3] a voiceover of a Tumblr exchange about Bee Movie that received over 487,000 views in two years (shown below, left). On March 16th of that year, the channel uploaded^[4] a video that gained over 620,000 views within the same timeframe (shown below, right).

Many of the uploads went viral on YouTube. As of May 3rd, 2023, the two most-watched videos uploaded by the channel had over 14 million and over 7.3 million views, respectively (shown below, left and right).^[5][6]
