French: half of the letters are not to be pronounced and are there because reasons.
Russian: everything is pronounced as written.
German, Finnish: everything is pronounced as written, but you will twist your tongue on some of the longer words.
English: same combinations of letters are pronounced differently in different words because screw you. Also that fancy word of yours belongs to us now.

I do prefer Finnish names, they're written exactly as pronounced and very simple like [ˈʋæi̯næˌmøi̯nen].
